Poker room
The regular poker offering is paused during the renovation (July 2026 until around August 2027). Ultimate Texas Hold'em continues to be offered as a table game against the dealer, including the “Trips” bonus bet and a progressive jackpot.
Getting there & location
The Grand Casino Baden is less than a five-minute walk from Baden railway station. Baden is an important rail hub with very good connections in all directions; from Zurich main station the journey takes around 16 minutes. From the station, simply follow Haselstrasse towards the Kursaal.
By car, the casino is reached via the A1 motorway, Baden exit. From the exit, signposting leads directly to the centrally located Grand Casino Baden at Haselstrasse 2. The casino's own underground car park is currently also being renovated, but there are plenty of alternative car parks within walking distance.

History & Background
Baden looks back on one of the longest gaming traditions in Switzerland: money was already being wagered in the Kursaal of the day back in 1891, long before there was a modern gambling act. After casinos were re-authorised in Switzerland, the Grand Casino Baden opened in July 2002 in the more than 150-year-old Kursaal building and has been one of the country's leading venues ever since. Grand Casino Baden AG was also a pioneer in digital gambling: in 2019 it launched jackpots.ch, the first legal online casino in Switzerland. At the end of 2023 the venue received one of the nine Type A licences for the 2025 to 2044 period. The historic Kursaal is currently undergoing extensive renovation; gaming continues in the pop-up casino until around August 2027.
