Kaspar Vogel founded Casinorating in October 2025 together with Jonathan Rinner and runs the site. He is responsible for content on law and regulation: what the Gambling Act allows, how the Federal Gaming Board (ESBK) supervises operators and how Germany, Austria and the other neighbouring countries regulate their markets.
He also compares what Swiss casinos offer and follows how the market develops in competition with foreign operators. Together with Jonathan Rinner, he runs the surveys and studies of Casinorating.
For his articles he works with primary sources such as legal texts, decisions and annual reports of the ESBK. He is not a lawyer; his articles explain the rules but are no substitute for legal advice.
