Getting there & location
From Pfäffikon SZ station, the casino at the Seedamm Plaza is around 10 minutes' walk. Pfäffikon SZ is an important rail hub on the upper part of Lake Zurich with S-Bahn and long-distance connections; the journey from Zurich main station takes about 30 to 40 minutes. Bus stops and a boat landing are right by the building.
Take the A3 motorway (Zurich–Chur) to the Pfäffikon exit, from where the Seedamm Plaza is signposted and reached within a few minutes. The drive from Zurich takes around 30 minutes. The casino is directly on the Seedamm causeway linking Pfäffikon and Rapperswil, making it quick to reach from the upper lakeshore and the Linth area too.

History & Background
The Casino Pfäffikon-Zürichsee opened on 11 November 2002 in what was then the new Seedamm Plaza, with a Type B licence from the Swiss Federal Gaming Board. It is operated by Casino Zürichsee AG, part of the Swiss Casinos group. In 2019 the venue was one of the first in Switzerland to receive a licence extension for online gambling and launched the online casino swisscasinos.ch, which grew into one of the country's most successful legal online offerings. In 2023 the Federal Council renewed the licence including online operations, valid for 20 years from 1 January 2025. A long-planned move to a new building in the Halten district was abandoned after delays: in summer 2024, Swiss Casinos instead signed a 20-year lease for the Seedamm Plaza. The casino therefore remains at its established location right on the Seedamm for the long term.
