About the Author
Can Ettiger grew up in German-speaking Switzerland and, after completing his Matura, studied Business Administration with a focus on Marketing at the ZHAW in Winterthur. During his studies, he began to focus intensively on the Swiss gambling market—initially out of academic interest, later out of genuine passion.
After graduating in 2020, he worked for two years as a content strategist for a Zurich-based digital agency, where he managed clients from the finance and entertainment sectors, among others. In 2022, he began publishing his own research on the Swiss online casino market in parallel—with a clear focus on ESBK-licensed providers, transparency in bonus terms, and practical player experience.
Since 2025, he has been a full-time editor and author at Casinorating. He tests every casino he reviews with a real player account: he deposits, plays, tests the support, and requests a payout—this is the only way to create honest reviews.
