Le Casino de Bad Ragaz est la seule maison de jeu du canton de Saint-Gall et fait partie int\u00e9grante du Grand Resort Bad Ragaz, un complexe 5 \u00e9toiles qui comprend \u00e9galement les c\u00e9l\u00e8bres thermes Tamina. L’\u00e9tablissement a ouvert ses portes le 27 d\u00e9cembre 2002 ; il s’agissait du premier casino construit en Suisse en vertu de la nouvelle loi sur les maisons de jeu. La tradition des casinos dans cette station thermale remonte toutefois \u00e0 bien plus loin, puisque d\u00e8s 1928, les Grand Hotels Bad Ragaz d\u00e9tenaient une concession pour un casino du Kursaal proposant des jeux de boules. <\/p>\n
Aujourd’hui, le casino accueille ses clients dans une \u00e9l\u00e9gante ambiance Art d\u00e9co. Apr\u00e8s quatre mois de travaux de r\u00e9novation d’un co\u00fbt d’environ 4 millions de CHF, l’\u00e9tablissement a c\u00e9l\u00e9br\u00e9 sa r\u00e9ouverture fin novembre 2023 avec des espaces de jeu r\u00e9am\u00e9nag\u00e9s, un espace polyvalent d\u00e9di\u00e9 aux concerts et aux \u00e9v\u00e9nements, ainsi que des \u00e9quipements techniques modernis\u00e9s. L’\u00e9tablissement propose plus de 120 machines \u00e0 sous, la roulette am\u00e9ricaine, le blackjack et l’Ultimate Texas Hold’em. Le Golden Wave Bar, qui propose plus de 100 vari\u00e9t\u00e9s de gin s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9es, soit le plus grand choix de la r\u00e9gion, constitue l’un de ses atouts majeurs. <\/p>\n
La maison de jeu est exploit\u00e9e par la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Casino Bad Ragaz AG, qui appartient depuis 2023 \u00e0 100 % \u00e0 Grand Resort Bad Ragaz AG. Le Conseil f\u00e9d\u00e9ral a renouvel\u00e9 la concession de type B de l’\u00e9tablissement pour la p\u00e9riode allant de 2025 \u00e0 fin 2044.
